Today, the Y6 prefects received their certificates for their First Aid Training.
Well done!
On Friday 1st December, the year 6 Prefects had the opportunity to learn basic first aid with St John Ambulance. They learnt how to dress a wound, how to put someone into the recovery position and how to use a sling.
Year 6 had a day full of excitement today as they learnt all about the Vikings. They built a Viking long ship replica, learnt how to weave and developed sewing skills whilst making a sail. They also had the opportunity to build shields and test their strength. A fantastic day had by all.
If you have any old shirts that need a new home, could you please send them into school with your child. We will be using them for art lessons therefore larger/adult shirts are best.
Thank you in advance 🙂
It was lovely to see so many of you at the Y6 parent meeting. Please see attached the information shared.
A reminder that the year 6 parent information meeting will be on Tuesday 19th September at 9am.
I look forward to seeing you then.
