This week, the Year Two children returned to school for their last half term in the infants. They were very proud of the Bee and Butterfly garden that they have been caring for and watering over the last few weeks as it is filled with flowers that are being visited by many insects.
Hidden amongst all those flowering plants, there were also lots of ripening strawberries. Through the week, we have been harvesting the strawberries and freezing them. On Friday, we finally had enough to make our own strawberry and banana milkshake. It was delicious and now the children know how make a milkshake as well as a wrap. Here are the instructions if you would like to make one too!
