Linked to our class book called A Walk in London, we have taken a tour around the school grounds and talked about all the fabulous experiences we have in school. We imagined that we were Mrs Porter and wrote tours of the school, which showed what accomplished authors we all are. To finish our tour, we wrote captions that describe what makes St Adrian’s school special to us. You are warmly welcomed to come and visit our class during Open Evening this Wednesday 28th June (4-5.30pm) to see all of the fabulous learning that we are so proud of.
We enjoyed dance from the 1950s to the 2000s on Tuesday

As part of the music week we’ve participated in a Jazz workshop, practicing different beats and rhythms, thinking about how the music makes us feel. The children even listened to a real saxophone! How exciting!
And finally we’ve watched and enjoyed the St. Adrians got talent show. Well done to those who were super brave to go for the auditions. And of course a big round of applause for our finalists!!! You were absolutely brilliant. Well done!

On Friday some children from year 4 attended the “World Games” at Oaklands College. We were part of the “Netherlands” team and did a great selection of sports and sporting activities. All the children showed great perseverance – really needed in the “slackrope” challenge! – and good sports skills. (Photos to follow).
We were sorry to miss “St Adrians Got Talent”, but have heard how fantastic the perfomers – Aiden & Jeremy and Sofia – from year 4 were. We also heard the other perfomers who auditioned, at lunchtime; and they were also excellent, putting a lot of preparation into their acts. Well done to everyone who participated.
Since before half term, the school council has been planning and preparing for this event. The members of the school council, designed and created posters to advertise the auditions, they gave up their lunch times for over a week to watch and judge all of the auditions.
Today, was the final and the judges took to their seats and watched each finalist very carefully before making their final decision.
