| Aideen Porter – Headteacher Governor
I have always been interested in teaching from a very early age and after a 6th form work placement in my old primary school, my mind was made up ! I then crossed the water to start my teacher training in Trinity and All Saints College in Leeds. I graduated in 2000 with BaHons in Theology and Primary Education and then was drawn to the bright lights of London. I am deeply passionate about making sure that all children in our care receive the very best start in their education and in their spiritual upbringing. I have held many coordinator roles over the years and have an in-depth knowledge of the curriculum. I have also held many leadership roles in schools in London and St Albans and I am now very excited to be appointed as the new Headteacher of this amazing school. I have a fantastic husband who is very supportive of me and a wonderful daughter who keeps me on my toes! Eleanor Christie – Vice Chair I am proud to be the Vice Chair at St. Adrian’s school where I have two children in different year groups. I live in St. Alban’s with my husband Michael who does the hard work of minding our children while I am at work as Head of Tax for a global restaurant group. I volunteered to be a governor because I think quality education, pastoral care and community spirit are so alive at St. Adrian’s with many thanks to the staff, parents, volunteers and community. Through my role as governor I want to be able to make a contribution to continuing the success of our wonderful school for our children. I have 20 years experience working in large corporate organisations and as a chartered accountant and I try to bring that experience, financial skill set and different perspectives to my role as a governor to represent a parent viewpoint. Current Governance Term Commenced: 1st September 2016 2024-2025: 4/6 2025-2026: 5/6 2026-2027: 1/1

| Paolina Sawle– Parent Governor
St Adrian’s has been a special part of our family life for almost ten years. With all three of my children attending the school, I have seen firsthand the difference a nurturing, close-knit Catholic community can make to a child’s early years. It was this family atmosphere, together with the school’s values and commitment to education, that first drew us to St Adrian’s. Over the years, I have enjoyed contributing to school life through the PTA, organising events and bringing families together. Outside of school, I work alongside my husband in our family property business and have a professional background in graphic design, branding, packaging and website communications, working with small businesses. Becoming a parent governor felt like a natural opportunity to give something back to a community that has played such an important role in our family’s life. I want to help preserve what makes St Adrian’s special whilst contributing to its continued growth and success. As SEND Link Governor, I have a particular interest in inclusion and children's wellbeing, ensuring every child feels understood, valued and supported. I am also passionate about strengthening communication and relationships between parents and the school, and supporting the dedicated staff who provide such a strong educational foundation. My hope is to help St Adrian’s build on its existing strengths, embrace new opportunities and remain a happy, thriving school community where every child has the chance to flourish.
