News from Year 4

We are heading into the final week of the Autumn term and I wanted to thank all of the parents for supporting us in getting the children into school for our new, earlier start time and for helping to protect our ‘bubble’ during the drop off and pick up times.

Thanks also for the support that you have given your children in helping them to prepare for our carol service. We are looking forward to sharing this with you next Thursday and further details of how to access this celebration will be published in the coming days.

The final ‘posting’ day for class Christmas cards is Tuesday, to allow for the recommended quarantine period and this last collection will be delivered on Friday, along with the exchange of our KK gifts, which should also be brought to school by Tuesday.

The children still have an opportunity each morning to change their reading book and I thank them for their patience in choosing from our depleted collection as we quarantine returned books. If you have any school reading books at home that have been missed, we would be very grateful for their return.

Finally, although our celebrations at the end of term may look different this year, we are looking forward to our Christmas lunch on Thursday, 17th December. The children are invited to bring in a Christmas jumper to change into for this celebration.

Have a safe weekend,

Mr Hayes
